This is the characteristic traditional Highland cottage, nestled into the hillside, overlooking the vista of islands to the north. The cottage has one twin and one double bedroom, ideal for a small family or a romantic retreat for two.
The elevated position is great for spotting wildlife. From the garden you can watch deer in the surrounding parks. Wake early in summer and you will see hinds with their spotted young. In autumn, from this cottage especially, you will hear the roar of rutting stags as they gather and defend their harem of females.
The enclosed garden has a picnic bench where you can dine in warmer weather, and there is a sun porch where you can sit in comfort and admire glowing sunsets. In summer it is late before the sun finally sinks behind the island hills, and at mid-summer it scarcely becomes dark, and you can track the progress of the sun just below the horizon.
The kitchen has cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge with freezing compartment and the living room has satellite television. For the ultimate relaxation after those long walks, the bathroom has a jacuzzi bath.
